During a tailgate in Ann Arbor in 2010,  I was introduced to this product by a friend who had prepared a delicious pork tenderloin that had been marinated with "The Shizzle" sauce, made by his friend Austin of North Carolina.

This seasoning works on several levels.   First,  the aromas of the cooking pork infused with these flavors and seasoning permeated the early afternoon air,  drawing glances and drools from surrounding football fans.    The taste is complex and multi-layered, but not overpowering (or burning).   Nobody ate that pork without commenting on the kinds of flavors that were hitting their pallette (as well as asking for more.)

The Shizzle sauce is a pineapple mash based jerk marinade seasoned with a unique set of herbs, spices, garlic and peppers but leaves OUT things like high fructose corn syrup, MSG, or fake color or preservatives.

This Caribbean jerk sauce is a new product and one that (unfortunately) has not yet hit a lot of supermarkets outside of the Shizzle's home of Raleigh, North Carolina.
